Day 1:  Arrival to Amman international airport. 

Depending on flights, overnight in Amman

Day 2:Amman  – Mt. Nebo – Madaba – Petra

Start the day with touring the city of Amman including the Roman Theatre and Citadel. From there, we continue south to Mt. Nebo and on to Madaba to visit the St. George’s Church. Finally continue to Petra for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Petra

Start the day touring the archeological site at the Nabatean City of Petra.  Access the site via the Siq, visit the famous treasury, the Royal tombs and the Theatre.  Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4:  Petra – Jericho – Jerusalem

Drive to the Jordan Crossing (Allenby) and cross into Israel.  Before heading to Jerusalem, we will visit the ancient city of Jericho and visit the famous Hisham Palace and ancient Jericho.  Finally head to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight at your hotel

Day 5:  Jerusalem

Start the day visiting in the Old city. Visit the Dome of the rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque. From here we will continue to the Church of St. anne and the Pools of Bethesda. From here we continue to Mount Zion and visit the Cenacle (last support room), the Dormition Abbey and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu. Last stop with be a visit to the Garden Tomb where you will have some time for reflectionReturn to Hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 6: Jerusalem

Start the day walking through the ancient City of David. Visit Hezekiah tunnel and the Pools of Silwoam. Finally, visit the Western Wall and the tunnel excavations. From here we retrace the final hours of Jesus as we walk the Via Doloroa (Way of Sorrows) following the 14 stations of the cross including the Ecce Homo, Flagellation and finally end inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

Return to Hotel for Dinner and overnight. 

Day 7: – Mount of Olives – Bethlehem

Start the day touring the Mount of Olives starting at the Pater Noster Church and then continue down towards the Church of all Nations and the Gadren of Gethsemane. Visit the tomb of Virgin Mary at the foot of the mount and then travel by bus to Bethlehem.  In Bethlehem, visit Manger Square and the Church of Nativity. Continue to the town of Beit Sahour and visit the Shepherds Filed. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Massada Dead  Sea and Jericho

Check out from your hotel in Jerusalem and drive through the Judean wilderness to the Jordan Valley and then along the Dead Sea shores.   Take the cable car to Massada and visit the ancient Fortress buit by Herod and recall the story of the Zealots.  From there, we continue and visit the site of Qumran where the Dead Sea scroll where found. Finally, continue to the Dead Sea and enjoy the afternoon swimming and relaxing before heading to your hotel in Jericho for overnight stay.

Day 9: Beit Shean – Megido – Sephoris – Tiberias

Check out of your hotel in Jericho and start your travel north. Stop at Beat Shean and visit the ruins of the New testament and later periods. From Bet Shean we continue north to visit Megiddo. From Here we continue across the Jezreel valley to our final stop of the day at Sepphoris.   Drive to Tiberias for Dinner and overnight at your hotel

Day 10:  Sea of Galilee and Tiberias

Spend the day visiting the many churches along the Sea of galilee. Start by visiting the Center of Jesus’ Ministry in the Galilee as you visit Capernaum. Continue to the Tabgha the site of the multiplication of fish and loaves.  Further to church of St. Peter and finally the Mount of Beatitude where Jesus gave his Sermon on the Mount. The final stop will be at the Baptismal Site Yardenet. Finish the day with a enjoyable boat ride on the Lake of Tiberias. Return to Hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 11:  Nazareth, Mt. Tabour and Caeserea – Tel Aviv

Drive to Nazareth and visit the Church of Annunciation and the old market. Continue to Nazareth Village for a tour.  Drive to Mt. Tabour and visit the Church of Transfiguration.  Next, we will start to make our way towards Tel aviv. Along the way, we will drive along the Meditewrranean coast and visit the archeological ruins at Caesarea. Finally continue to telaviv for Check in to your hotel

Day 12: Departure: 

Depending on flights, a visit to the ancient town of Jaffa or relaxing in tel Aviv before heading to airport for departure.
