Explore Palestine 7 Days

Duration: 7 days / 6 nights

Day 1:   Jerusalem   Arrival at Tel Aviv Airport. Transfer to Jerusalem. Drive up to the Mount of Olives for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Old City. Check into your hotel in Jerusalem or dinner and overnight.

Day 2:   Jerusalem: Spend the day inside the Old city Walls. Visit the four quarters of the OLD city including the main sites such as the Western Walls, the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque. Retrace the final hours of Jesus life as you walk the “via Dolorosa” or Way of Sorrows ending up in the Church of Holy Sepulchre.  Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 3:  Travel North towards the ancient city of Nablus. Tour the Old Town of Nablus, and visit Jacob’s Well. From Nablus, continue toward Mt. Gerzim and visit the Samaritan community. Finally, head to Sebastya and tour both the old town the Archeological site believed to house the Tomb of John the Baptist. After a traditional luch in Sebastiya, we continue South toward Ramallah.  Enjoy a driving tour in Ramallah passing some of the main landmarks in the city. Stop and visit the Presidential Compound the Tomb of Yasser Arafat.   Rest of afternoon free to relax and explore Ramallah. Dinner and overnight in Ramallah

Day 4:  Drive to the village of Taybeh and visit the Famous Taybeh brewery and winery.  From Taybeh, we head South towards Jericho and the Dead Sea. Along the way, stop and visit the Nabi Mousa complex. Continue to Jericho and visit the Oldest continuously inhabited city in the World dating back 10,000 years.  In Jericho, you will tour the Ancient city “Tel Sultan”, continue to the famous Hisham Palace and enjoy a view of the Mount temptation . Before heading Bethlehem, stop by the Dead Sea and enjoy a few relaxing hours on the Shores.  Drive to Bethlehem and check into hotel for dinner and overnight in Bethlehem

Day 5:   Begin the day by walking along the Ancient Pilgrims Route of Star street leading up to Manager Sqaure. Learn about the Historic Quarters of Bethlehem.  Visit the Church of the Nativity and nearby Milk Grotto.  After lunch there are several options tours to consider:

  • Option 1:  Drive toward Beit Jala and begin a 2-3 hour hike through the beautiful natural landscape leading to the village of Battir which was recently inscribed in the UNESCO world Heritage List. 
  • Option 2:  afternoon, drive to Solomons Pools and Herod Castle. Continue to the village of Artas famous of its annual Lettuce Festival. Finally, visit the Deheisheh refugee camp to get a better understanding into the plight of Palestinian refugees.

Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem

Day 6:  Drive to Hebron and visit the ancient city home to the Ibrahimi Mosque.  Visit a traditional Glass blowing factory before heading back to Jerusalem. Spendthe afternoon touring the Mount of Olives and Mount Zion area before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight

  

Day 7: Morning free to explore the old city. Finally drive to airport for final departure.
