Day 1 Arrival at Amman Airport where our representative will meet you with a sign and will assist you through visa procedures – luggage identification – guests will meet their driver at the arrival hall and will be transferred to Amman, Check in at hotel, & overnight.
Day 2 Breakfast at hotel – start the day with a city tour of Amman to include the visit of the citadel, Roman Theater, the archeological museum & King Abdullah Mosque – continue to visit the Desert castle, taking you on a journey to the flourishing Islamic civilization of the Umayyad Dynasty. A string of castles, caravanserai, fortresses and retreats adorn your desert trail and paint a mysterious, exotic picture of hunting life and recreation in those old times, those castles are Qasr Amra, Qasr Azraq and Qasr Al Kheraneh – Back to Amman for overnight
Day 3 Breakfast at Hotel – then drive to visit the Roman city of Jerash visiting Maximus Cardo, the colonnaded street flanked by temples, churches, theaters and endless mosaics. Continue to Umm Qais, an important city of the Decapolis where poets and artists were inspired and where Christ performed the Miracle of the Gadarine Swine. Wandering through the unique black basalt structures, you can’t help but seek your own inspiration in the city anciently known as Gadara with a breathtaking mountain-top location overlooking Lake Tiberias (Sea of Galilee). Gadara was the home for the famous Roman poet Theodorus, founder of the School of Rhetorics in Rome, who called Umm Qais the “New Athens.” Drive back to Amamn & overnight at the hotel in Amman
Day 4 Breakfast at hotel – depart to visit the endless churches of Madaba known as the city of mosaics for the famous mosaic map flooring the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, the oldest map in the world depicting the Holy Land – then continue to visit Mount Nebo, the mountaintop memorial of Moses with captivating views of the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, River Jordan and the Holy Land – continue to drive to visit the magnificent Crusader fortress of Kerak – The biblical name is Qer Harreseth which means the Fortified forte and was mentioned also as Moab or Cheracomba, where Mesa’ sacrificed his son by the eastern wall of the castle. End the day in Petra and overnight
Day 5 Breakfast at hotel – Full day dedicated to visit Petra the Rose Red City – The visit will include the main sites such as the “Siq”, a long winding fissure between two walls of overhanging cliffs, the “Khazneh” referred to as the Treasury, the Street of Facades, the Court House and the Amphitheater. If time permits; then we can also include visits to the High Place of Sacrifice and the Monastery. After the visit, proceed back to the hotel for overnight stay
Day 6 Breakfast at hotel – depart to visit Wadi Rum where we will arrange for a jeep tour for 2 hrs inside the desert – end the tour and drive to Aqaba city for free afternoon and overnight
Day 7 Breakfast at hotel – check out from hotel and transfer by land to Amman Queen Alia Airport with the assistance of our representative
